Promotion of European values in Pula
On the occasion of the International Day Against Fascism and Antisemitism, NGO «HOMO» from Pula, which is an Igman Initiative member organization and a member of the Association of Multiethnic Cities of Southeast Europe PHILIA as well, have organized a three-day international conference.
Days of Igman Initiative were also organized in the framework of this event with a very comprehensive program. Starting event was a meeting of representatives of Igman Initiative members, which was organized with the purpose to analyze past activities and discuss future activities of this regional association of NGOs.
Public presentation of Igman Initiative took place at the Italian Home. Among many other citizens, Mayor of Pula and the Deputy Prefect of the County of Istra, were also present. This event caused a lot of media attention. At the end of the presentation, citizens had the opportunity to see the TV show THEY SPOKE DIFFERENTLY, which also caused a lot of stir.
Days of Igman Initiative in Pula were also an opportunity to reinforce the cooperation between the cities of Pula, Budva and Banja Luka, which was originally initiated within the framework of Igman Initiative and continued afterwards in the framework of the Association of Multiethnic Cities of Southeast Europe. Working meeting with the representatives of the three towns took place at the Town Hall in Pula. During this meeting, participants have analyzed their past work on establishment of cooperation in the field of economy, culture and in other fields. They have also agreed to continue with their efforts in this field.
