On December 7th and 8th 2007, in Vukovar city the conference “Through understanding towards trust- post war rebuilding of coexistence in Vukovar” took place. The organizer of the meeting was the Forum of Citizens from Tuzla in cooperation with Igman Initiative.
During the work hours of the conference, among others, participated also Zivorad Kovacevic-the President of PHILIA Association and member of Igman Initiative Council, Aleksandar Popov- Co-president of Igman Initiative for Serbia, and Vehid Sehic-member of Igman Initiative Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon this occasion, they laid the ledge of Igman Initiative and PHILIA Association on the commemoration cemetery „Ovcara“ in sign of memory on 200 killed citizens in Vukovar.
We believe that with this kind of meetings, we could contribute to trust rebuilding among citizens, what is the main motive of Igman Initiative and Association PHILIA work. Realization of this reunion was enabled by IKW Pax Chirsti Foundation.
