Meeting with Boris Tadic, the president of Republic of Serbia
 



Boris Tadic, the president of Republic of Serbia, received on 7th September 2010 in Belgrade, the Igman Initiative delegation, consisting of  Živorad Kovačević, President of the Igman Initiative Council and Aleksandar Popov, Co-President of the Igman Initiative for Serbia. The theme of this meeting was related to the preparation of the 22nd Session of the Igman Initiative that will be held on 16th April 2011. in Belgrade. In accordance with an agreement reached on the previous session, which was held on 29th May, 2010 in Sarajevo, 22 session will be attended by all four heads of states signatory of the Dayton Agreement. President Tadic was briefed that the two main topics of the next session will be remaining open issues between the four countries and the institutionalization of cooperation. President Tadic has strongly supported this orientation, particularly the application of some positive experiences from the Nordic model of cooperation in efforts to institutionalize cooperation among the countries of the Dayton Agreement. Stefan Füle Commissioner for enlargement of European Union will participate in the next 22nd session of the Igman Initiative in Belgrade.
